President Badra Gunba bids farewell to Appolon Gurgulia
A farewell ceremony was held in the village of Kutol for a prominent statesman and public figure, a renowned surgeon, Honored Doctor of the Republic of Abkhazia, former Minister of Health, Deputy of the People's Assembly – Parliament of the Republic of Abkhazia of the V convocation, veteran of the Patriotic War of the People of Abkhazia 1992–1993, Hero of Abkhazia Appolon Gurgulia.

The President expressed his condolences to the family and loved ones of Appolon Gurgulia, noting his contribution to saving lives during the Patriotic War of the Abkhazian people and his many years of work in the healthcare sector.

Appolon Gurgulia passed away at the age of 74 after a serious disease. Posthumously awarded the Order of Akhdz-Apsha, II degree.
