By decree of the President of the Republic of Abkhazia, Badra Gunba, Beslan Dzhopua was relieved of his duties as Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Abkhazia.

By order of the Head of State, Beslan Dzhopua was appointed Adviser to the President of the Republic of Abkhazia.

Today, the President also signed a decree appointing Beslan Pertskhelia as Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Abkhazia.

Beslan Dmitrievich Pertskhelia was born on June 22, 1975.

In 1992, he graduated from Secondary School No. 15 in Ochamchira.

From 1997 to 1999, he worked as a technologist at the Abkhaztabak Group of Companies.

In 1999, he graduated from the Faculty of Biology and Geography of Abkhazian State University with a degree in Biology.

From 1999 to 2005, he served as a forester at the Ochamchira Forestry Department.

From 2001 to 2004, he served as Deputy Chairman of the Ochamchira District Assembly.

From 2005 to 2007, he served as Deputy Head of the Administration of the Ochamchira District.

In 2010, he graduated from the Agro-Engineering Faculty of Abkhazian State University with a degree in Technology of Subtropical and Food Flavor Products.

From 2010 to 2011, he served as Manager of the filling station complex of RN-Abkhazia LLC.

From 2013 to 2014, he served as Deputy Director of the state enterprise “Dairy Plant.”

Since 2023, he has been a member of the Public Chamber of the Republic of Abkhazia.

He is married and has three children.
