Badra Gunba noted that the people of Abkhazia remember with deep gratitude the help provided by the brothers from the North Caucasus, including representatives of Kabardino-Balkaria, during the Patriotic War of the people of Abkhazia.

"For us, each of you is a memory and a living hope for a bright future," the President said. 

Badra Gunba emphasized that the enduring brotherhood forged through the centuries will be passed on to the next generations and will continue to grow stronger.

Also today, during the visit, President Badra Gunba and members of the Abkhaz delegation honored the memory of the legendary commander, Hero of Abkhazia and former Minister of Defense of Abkhazia, Lieutenant General Sultan Sosnaliev, by laying flowers at his grave.
