The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin visited the stand of the Republic of Abkhazia presented at the Caucasus Investment Forum — 2026. He was received by the President of Abkhazia, Badra Gunba, along with members of the Abkha

During the inspection of the stand, the Head of State briefed Mikhail Mishustin about the key indicators of the socio-economic development of the republic. Badra Gunba stressed the importance of the assistance provided by the Russian Federation and expressed gratitude for the comprehensive support of Abkhazia.

In particular, the President noted that Vladislav Ardzinba Sukhum International Airport, which was opened a year ago following a large-scale reconstruction, has already demonstrated significant results. Over this short period, it has served more than 120,000 passengers, which is a significant factor in the economic development of the republic.

Economy Minister Teymuraz Mikvabia also presented an investment project for the development of a modern ski resort in Abkhazia.

For his part, Mikhail Mishustin gave a positive assessment of the republic’s progress and the dynamics of changes.
